The Bay Area Society of Homebrewers are an official club under the American Homebrewers Association. We are highly involved in all things beer in Corpus Christi and always invite the public to our events.
Iron Mash

Where: Lazy Beach Brewing
Originally conceived as a vehicle to demonstrate the techniques of home brewing, the day has evolved into one of the most anticipated events in our annual calendar. Hosted by Lazy Beach Brewing , this year finds 4 teams competing for the coveted Iron Mash medallion.
When: 2nd Sunday of every month @ 4pm
Where:​ Different host every month.
Bring a chair and a tasting glass. And of course a side dish and your homebrew or your favorite commercial beer.
Big Brew
AHA Big Brew is a celebration of National Homebrew Day. Each year homebrewers around the world invite family and friends to their brewing site on the first Saturday in May to celebrate the holiday. Everyone is encouraged to help out with the brew, enjoy the fun and join in on a world-wide toast at noon CDT.

First organized in 2002 by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA), Mead Day is a national event to increase mead awareness and foster camaraderie among meadmakers. Homebrewers around the world are encouraged to invite friends and family to celebrate Mead Day by making mead together.

Classic Brew
Corpus' Annual International Beer tasting featuring micro-brews for guests to sample from commemorative pilsner glasses, while enjoying the best cuisine from area restaurants. All 5 local breweries are part of the event, and guests will be able to choose samples from over 200 other featured international and domestic brews.
