Lou Needleman hosted the April, 2026 B.A.S.H. meeting on Sunday the 12th at a home he owns in Corpus Christi. President Vic Aguilar called the meeting to order and thanked our host.
Treasurer Walt Crawford began collecting dues for the 2026/2027 fiscal year. Secretary Wild Bill Lehfeld reviewed upcoming meetings, special events and competitions. We will brew two beers at B&J’s Pizza for The American Homebrewers Association’s Big Brew – George and Aaron’s Pre-Prohibition Porter and Dark Cellar Imperial Stout. In new business, we approved the future competition schedule proposed by Chris Ackman.
Brewing volumes for March are as follows: Chris – 5 gallons, Vic – 17 gallons, Walt Crawford – 5 gallons, Jay Porterfield/Funks – 5 gallons, Hershel Tritt – 2 gallons mead, total = 34 gallons beer and mead. YTD totals for 2026: Chris – 10 gallons, Vic – 34 gallons, Walt – 5 gallons, Jason Fransham – 5 gallons, Wild Bill – 2.5 gallons, Tom Ormrod – 18 gallons, Jay/Funks – 5 gallons, Hershel – 6 gallons mead, Andy Vaughn – 5 gallons, total = 90.5 gallons beer and mead.
