Mark Woerner hosted the September, 2026 B.A.S.H. meeting on Sunday the 13 th at his home in Corpus Christi. Club president Vic Aguilar called the meeting to order, thanked our host and welcomed new members Steve and Connie Sutton.

In his secretary’s report, Wild Bill Lehfeld reviewed upcoming meetings, special events and competitions.

Brewing volumes for August are as follows: Chris Ackman -- 5 gallons, Tom Ormrod – 5 gallons, total = 10 gallons. YTD totals for 2026: Chris Ackman – 23 gallons, Vic Aguilar – 34 gallons, Big Brew – 13 gallons, Walt Crawford – 5 gallons, Jason Fransham – 13 gallons, Jack Heim/Carroll Pate/Mike Wojdyla – 5 gallons, Wild Bill – 10 gallons, Tom Ormrod – 38 gallons, Jay/Funks – 27 gallons, Hershel Tritt – 9 gallons mead, Andy Vaughn – 5 gallons, total = 182 gallons beer and mead.

There was no competition this month

As we feasted on Mark’s nilgai backstrap rollups, nilgai burgers, nilgai sausage and South African-style sausage, we reduced homebrew inventory and shared a plethora of commercial beers, including Tox Brewing Wolfsbane Oatmeal Stout (Chris), Sierra Nevade Oktoberfest Festbier (John Brett), Top of Main Galactic Destroyer Imperial Stout/Meanwhile Oktoberfest Festbier/Clag Brewing The Chaveller Hazy IPA (David Funk), Avery The Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest Lager (Adam Klager), Martin House Reverie
