Jack and Karen Heim hosted the December, 2021 B.A.S.H. meeting on Sunday the 12th at their home in Corpus Christi.
Host Jack called the meeting to order. Walt Crawford presented another outstanding treasury report. We voted to hold the February meeting on the third Sunday to avoid a conflict with the Super Bowl. John Fulton proposed holding a brewing equipment swap meet during May’s Big Brew. We approved, pending approval by host B&J’s pizza. There was no competition this month.
As we enjoyed spiral cut ham we reduced inventory on existing homebrews. Interesting commercial beers included Liz Ackman’s Alaskan Kölsch, Rusty Keyes’ Kona Big Wave Golden Ale, Jay Porterfield’s La Cumbre Malpais Stout/Hecht Rauchbier and Lisa Ramos’ Alamo Holiday Ale.
