Wild Bill Lehfeld hosted the well-attended July, 2025 B.A.S.H. meeting on Sunday the 13th at B&J’s Pizza on Staples at Timbergate. President Vic Aguilar called the meeting to order and welcomed new member Paul.

Treasurer Walt Crawford gave another stellar report and collected dues for the new fiscal year. We voted to continue the complimentary memberships for 2026. In his secretary’s report, Wild Bill Lehfeld reviewed upcoming meeting hosts and competitions. Our brewing total for June was a little meager: Jason Fransham – 2.75 gallons, Jay Porterfield – 5 gallons. YTD totals for 2025: Chris Ackmamn – 20 gallons, Big Brew – 9 gallons, Jason Fransham – 11.75 gallons, Jack Heim/Carroll Pate – 5 gallons, Wild Bill – 7.5 gallons, Tom Ormrod – 45 gallons, Jay Porterfield/Funks – 9.5 gallons, Andy Vaughn – 5 gallons. Total for 2025 = 112.75 gallons (362.25 gallons beer and mead in 2024).

In new business, we approved Vic’s proposal to participate in a fundraiser with Beach Ball Brewing in Flour Bluff to benefit Hunt ISD, which suffered damage during the Guadalupe River floods on July 4. Lou Needleman has lightly-used dorm refrigerator/freezers for sale, with proceeds to benefit the B.A.S.H. treasury. There was no competition this month.

B&J’s crew members, led by Steven and Stitch, kept the pizzas coming, which we washed down with the Big Brew barleywine, miscellaneous homebrews and cold draft beer served up by bartender Thomas.
